This statement is made pursuant to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out steps that Rickards & Cleaver has undertaken in its continuing ensurance that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain.

Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking and forced labour.

Rickards & Cleaver have a strict approach to any form of modern slavery and are committed to acting ethically at all times, Rickards & Cleaver do not permit any form of modern slavery taking place within its business or at any level of its supply chain and has stringent checks in place to ensure that it does not and cannot take place.

Internal

Rickards & Cleaver are UK registered solicitors and the majority of its customers are from the UK or EU.   

External

It is possible that some suppliers, particularly overseas may indulge in practices of recruitment that fall short of our standards. We do our best to ascertain that their policies and procedures do not conflict with our own standards.

Training

Rickards & Cleaver regularly conduct internal training for team members and ensure that every representative of the company can recognise the signs of modern slavery and knows the procedure for reporting it.
