These documents enable you to appoint up to four trusted friends and/or relatives to manage your affairs either now or in the future.
You must have the mental capacity when the Power of Attorney is signed, but the document will still be valid even if you if become mentally incapable at some future point. A Power of Attorney can also be beneficial if you have suffered an accident, ill health or the onset of mental illness.
